Some Church Clerk's Minutes have gotten lost, so I'm starting a new book from the beginning from memory. This little church was bought with the help of Brother Jakob Boros who lived in Lorain. During the week and Sundays, they had worship services in people's homes amongst the Hungarians. Several years after, Brother Laszlo Revesz came to this place and picked up the work in the year 1919. That's when they built the church at 206 West River Road. He did a real nice job from the beginning and then he went to Bridgeport, Connecticut to continue the Lord's work.

When Brother Joseph Botka took over the leadership of the church, he came to us from Buffalo, New York. This brother also did very good work. He worshipped God highly together with the church. From here, he went to Watervliet in the state of Michigan to the old folks home.

Brother Alex Boda followed Brother Botka as the church's leader. While he was here, the Depression set in, and we went through a lot of difficulties with that, but as the years went by, this Brother Boda was leading our little church. During this time, he went to Cleveland, Ohio, so he could have a better paying job.

After that Brother Gabriel Fodor became the church's leader. He had a short stay with the church. He went to Gary, Indiana to lead.

Brother Julius Kish followed as leader of the church. Brother Kish came from Cleveland every Sunday morning to have worship service, and they had evening service, too. After the evening service, he went back to Cleveland. These minutes were written during his time of service to the church. All this information as I received it I wrote it down. I hope that whoever is interested in the minutes information will be available.

Brotherly love,
Alexander Yosa
Church Clerk (or) "Secretary"
