| April 4, 1934 Brother Fodor
began this meeting with song and prayer. Brother Hamula's
treasurer's report was accepted with the thought, that from now
on, the money given to the church should be put in a little
envelope. After the last meeting, they didn't have a treasurer's
report accepted, so this time they elected Brother Paul Butti
to oversee the report. There were opinions that in the past, the
church used to give money to help the worker pay towards the state
convention , so the church should send $5.
It was voted that the Sunday School picnic will
be on a Saturday at Oakwood Park in Lorain. The
money for the picnic should be voluntarily given for ice cream,
pop, and candy (suckers). Everyone accepted this.
After that, the yearly (annual) convention was
brought up. This year it will be at Homestead, Pennsylvania,
so the majority sent Brother Fodor and his wife as
delegates to the convention. The amount of $5 was voted and
approved for the trip.
A proposal for a fence around the church was
voted on , and it was suggested that the women's treasury should
cover that cost. With that the meeting was closed.
